As always you have to start from the beginning and this is it, tutorial about how to start with pixel art. As some of you don't have a photoshop then I decided to make this tutorial about pixel art and MS Paint. I hope you enjoy it.

Basics of Pixel Art
Pixel Art Tutorial Series is currently the most popular thing on my page. The idea behind this is to take suggestions from the community and try to make a tutorial out of these things, helping out fellow deviants along the way. You can also find my pixel art tutorials in groups like #TutorialsForYou, #TutorialsClub and #PixelCommunity.
Here is a list of tutorials in my Pixel Art Tutorial Series, tutorials which are underlined and bold are already ready tutorials that you can read, other tutorials without the underline are tutorials that will be posted in deviantART in near future.
You can also suggest new pixel art tutorial series by commenting on my profile page, on these tutorials or by sending me a note.

Can you please do this with a grid next time?
This is really great!
Thanks For the awesome tutorial! I tried to get into pixel art awhile back but without any of the basics it didn't turn out so well.
THANK U SOOOOOOOO MUCH VANMALL
Great start. Thanks.
Thanks so much for posting this! I've done both the cube one and the round objects/table one and the way you explain it is really helpful. ^^
This is wonderful! Thank you so much for making this tutorial and other tutorials! This is the best for someone whose always been interested in but has never been able to grasp the ability to make pixel art!
Your tutorials are clear, concise, and an excellent start for anyone looking to get started with pixel art. Thank you for taking the time to put them all together.
MS Paint, that underestimated program, even if is REALLY good for pixel art.
Tried this in MSpaint on Windows 8 and it sucked. Turned around and used Photoshop CS6 and boom nailed it! thanks for your tutorial!
in w8 its hard to do :/
Is MS Paint the same as Paint on Windows 7 OS' nowadays?
Nope. Unfortunately not.
Wow this is great because I don't have super fancy programs on my computer and you have the same version of Paint as me. BIG thanks.
Ugh. Should've thought of this before going out to buy photoshop cs6. Well now I'll be using it for editing. -_-
