First of all I have been really busy with pixel art and overall graphics design and I love it because for the last 3-4 years I hadn't created any real "digital art" just because I somehow didn't feel the need to do it again. But during these years there were some periods where I really missed it and I just knew that I have to come back to it. So my new years resolution was to come back to it and see what will happen. I'm glad to say that so far I'm keeping my promise.
To be honest, these last few years have been a real mess for me. I was in university for 3 years and managed to graduate it. Then just before that me and my friend decided that it would be a good idea to start our own business, so we did. It was awesome and I enjoyed it but somehow I grew apart from it pretty fast. Going to army just a year after it made it even worse and getting "kicked out" of the army didn't make it any better either.
So it brings us to September 2012 - getting back home. After coming back from army I just wanted to relax. It was quite awesome there, I met a lot of nice people and we had fun even if we shouldn't have had (Me in gas mask, trying our winter camo).

But at the same time it was exhausting, living in the forest for weeks and walking with full backpacks for 5-6 hours without resting gets you tired, even if you are in a good shape. So it was natural that I wanted to take some time off and relax.
Coming back home I knew that I don't want to return to my business, even if it meant no job at all, so that's what I did. From September to the beginning of January it was a relaxing period for me, determined that 2013 will be my busiest year. So in January I made some more resolutions for this year:
1. Figure shit out.
2. Make it work.
So that's what I am doing and one of these decisions also includes pixel art. For the last 4 days I have worked on pixel art about 5 hours a day, making some great progress with it and having 2 different projects going on at the same time. I'm really excited about my personal project, which is quite huge but fun to do. I will tell you more about it when I'm closer to finishing it, I still have to put about 50 hours of work into it.
But while doing it I just had to think about my pixel art tutorials again and what should I do with it. So I have decided that I will be making more pixel art tutorials, it just might take a bit longer to finish them now. Considering that i have uploaded I think 4 tutorials this year and about the same in last 3 years, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Good luck figuring things out. I hope you manage all your job, and stuff. Cheers!
Pixel tutorials are something thanks to what I got most of my viewers so I have to make more otherwise it feels like betraying my watchers.
You're awesome, Mikk!! I can't wait to see new works.
Oh that's really good news Mikk!!!
And I loved the little "history" you wrote
