It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

#TutorialsClub and groups

I have a big plan to write as many pixel art tutorials as I can and as a pixel art GM this is quite a useful thing. However theres no sense to write these tutorials only for myself. DeviantART has a great way to "publish" user deviations for wider audience -> groups. I have been an admin and a founder for #TutorialsForYou for quite a while now and unfortunately I haven't been active there. Thats why it doesn't have the popularity it should have. Now when I came back to deviantART my plans were big. (and still are) I wanted to start sharing my knowledge of pixel art to as many people as I could. Thats why I applied and got the pixel art GM position and so far I love it. But my second dream was to make #TutorialsForYou active again and I was working on it to start its second coming.
A day or two ago ~Stelthman decided that he would need another admin for his #TutorialsClub as unfortunately he didn't have time for it anymore, and I contacted him and we talked a bit. We decided that I will be a new co-founder and run his group the way I see it, but of course, trying to carry on the legacy. So here is the announcement: I am the new co-founder of #TutorialsClub. I am really excited because its a well-known tutorials group here in deviantART. However, it doesn't mean that I will leave #TutorialsForYou.

Just a quick update.
